I was about to just use this failed pc attempt to test colors,
but I started writing on it and it made me laugh.
So I sent it to Suzie.

Isn't this lovely:
“I pray to the birds. I pray to the birds because I believe they will carry the messages of my heart upward. I pray to them because I believe in their existence, the way their songs begin and end each day—the invocations and benedictions of Earth. I pray to the birds because they remind me of what I love rather than what I fear. And at the end of my prayers, they teach me how to listen.”

- And I think this book by Jen Bryant & Melissa Sweet
- would make a wonderful Christmas gift for a child.
HowManyOfMe is so cool! If I put my name without my husband's last name added there are 9 of me. With my hyphenated last name only me. Love your art work and what a great idea to just label your illustrations. All I see are peanuts so this makes sense!
ReplyDeleteIt is, isn't it. I may try putting in my maiden name or my middle name and do it again. :) I may be using a lot more labels on what I draw!
DeleteNeat website. At the moment the page doesn't load. Will try later.
ReplyDeleteDo try it again! I was surprised there were only 15 people with the same first and last names.
DeleteI love that funny! And I saw your peanuts right away-I thought it was a good painting.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you would have recognized the peanuts without a label! :) I intended to add a cardinal since I feed the cardinals in a separate feeder--or at least for months it was just cardinals, now some much smaller birds give the peanuts a try.
DeleteI thought the peanuts were perfectly recognisable!
ReplyDelete:) What if I'd labeled them potatoes? I'm not much at drawing "real" things, but labeling can come in handy!
DeleteThat was a fun website! I am the only person in the U.S. with my name (first and last) and my husband is one of three with his name.
ReplyDeleteLove that last picture of the batteries. :)
:) My goodness, Les, you and your husband are rare creatures! I can safely assume that your last name is neither Smith nor Jones. :)
