My first completed Eccentric Twiggy.
Deer Diva
She loved practicing in the garden.
I still had some small pieces of raw silk, muslin, and cheesecloth
that I eco dyed and embroidered a few years ago,
and they went into the making of Deer's clothing.
She practiced her arabesques with great enthusiasm.
What a cutie! She is enjoying the garden as much as I do. Love her sweet face and dress.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Starr! After our weeks of rain, she is really enjoying these sunny days in the garden. :)
DeleteI love this critter! Also loved your fully-stitched doll. All your work is so whimsical and such fun!
ReplyDelete:) I'm moving from cloth to clay again. Thanks for your sweet comment about the eccentric dolls, Connie!
DeleteVery fine and elegant!
ReplyDeleteShe's a little gangly, all long legs and enthusiasm, but working on elegance!
DeleteCute!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Francoise! Deer and gardens--a somewhat problematic match. :)
DeleteI adore her. Love the textures you've put into her 'dress' and her posings are quite wonderful.
ReplyDelete:) Thanks, Penny! I enjoyed working on her!
