The wintery mix wasn't too bad for our area. Some sleet, some snow, but not too much. I took the pictures a little while ago, but it had already begun melting. The Southeast, however, had much worse conditions.
Edgar made a mad dash out the door, but decided not to stay too long.I made Harriet (the little girl I've been working on) a collar, but seem to have lost it. She is 7" from head to foot, but 8 1/2" tall from foot to tip of pony tail. Poor little girl is finally dressed, complete with her knickers. She's waited a long time and been through several fittings that she didn't care for.

Nice pictures of Edgar in the snow!
ReplyDeleteThe doll looks great. Love the little rabbit too.
Thanks, Francoise! Edgar liked it for a while, but he was soon ready to come in. Thanks for the nice comments about the doll!
ReplyDeleteIs this a crazy winter, or what?!!
ReplyDeleteLove the little doll holding her bunny. Very quaint and cute. - Kathy
Kathy - It HAS been a crazy winter! We can be 70 degrees one day and freezing the next!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and for the remarks about Harriet.
I think Harriet is my favorite...so far...I know I say that every time. Love the bunny--nice touch.
ReplyDeleteRian, Harriet is quite attached to her bunny :0 It made dressing her much more difficult!
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH that mushroom fabric is PERFECT! I love her spirit!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie! I love that fabric, too. I had to give it a little tea wash to tone it down a bit for Harriet, but in its brightest form it is even more cheerful. It was from an Alexander Henry collection.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I don't think you lost the collar...Harriet looks a bit mischievous to me! I think she hid it! Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog! It is nice to hear from people!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sara! Harriet is a bit of scamp and may well have disposed of her collar!
ReplyDeleteHi Jenclair,
ReplyDeleteSo nice to hear from you and thank you so much for the kind words about my Winter Fantasy deer doll "Frannie - Protector of the Woods". I'll have more on my blog of her finished very soon. Anyway, I love your Valentine's vignette, the Valentine dolls and this doll with the bear! I'm not even finished looking around yet. SEe you, LoRi Grassette~
Lori - I fell in love with Frannie, and she does deserve her own fairy tale. You've outdone yourself on this one. I'll be checking in to see more!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the nice comments on the Valentine stuff; I've had such fun playing and crafting!
