Since for the last couple of weeks, I've somehow failed to get the camera out and take pictures of our Bryce Eleanor Tuesdays, I made sure to take some this time.
She ate a good dinner, but kept her eye on the gathering beggars. For breakfast this morning, she decided to set her own place at the stairs. That's Ariel on the step, but Flounder had to be recovered from the Triad. No damage done, but the 3 little beggars had stolen him when they decided they didn't want her breakfast strawberries and apple slices.
Much to get done today as we will be leaving Friday morning early. Still don't have a dress for Little Kris's wedding and plan on looking for one today. Need to stop the paper and the mail and begin getting things together.
Finished all my library books and have been scheduling reviews on my book blog, but I need to make a library run to be sure they are returned before we leave.
Gessoed, sanded, gessoed, sanded, added more clay to chest, attached head and hands to grandmother doll. I will keep working on hands, but don't think I'll ever have much success with them. I love applying gesso and then sanding the cloth body, the resulting feeling is similar to leather.
The color is wrong in the pic with the black background.
Have a great day!
What a cutie. The hands on that doll are wonderful!! Have a great time at the wedding.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gerrie! We are looking forward to some sun, sand, and a lovely wedding!
