The one I want to share (with Kim's permission) is Medusa, Week 36, Friday Collage. Don't you love the hair? Kim says it sits about 1/4" above the quilt, if you click to enlarge the picture, you can see the dimension better.

I agree Jen. Kim's work is always interesting and I was taken with this particularly piece as well. For me it was the eyes.

Debra - I'm tickled that you'd think of me for this challenge, but it takes more than the ability to read to make it in that competition! I think they chose a great theme, though, don't you?
Thanks for your kind words Jen. I have a love/hate relationship with my commitment to the weekly collage but I think it's helping me understand what I want to do creatively. The process of doing is what makes me happy and Medusa was a joy to create.
