I caught up on some letter writing.
I printed a pic of one of the Halloween dolls
I made last year on a tea bag.
but the printer was almost out of ink.
I can't seem to leave them alone!

Still hot and humid.
Heat index for today predicted to be 115 degrees.
Temperature-wise, this isn't the hottest July
we have ever had,
but because of the humidity,
the "Real Feel"
makes this the most miserable summer I can remember.
Great new mail art, Jen! Cute new tea bag houses. I am always amazed at your creativity with the tea bags. Unique and original.
ReplyDeleteAfter putting the fingerprints all over the letter to Penne, I finally got to use the lines from Paul Simon's "The Myth of Fingerprints" :)
DeletePlease don't leave the tea bags alone! They are too interesting and look like such fun. I love those houses but your hand-embroidery work is stunning. You are so talented and it seems you've found a wonderful medium.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mary, for your kind comments! There will never be a shortage of tea bags around here, so whenever I get bored, I can experiment with them. :)
DeleteI just adore what you're doing with the teabags -- really fantastic! Thanks for your mail! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDelete:) Cheap resource! I'm glad your letter has arrived. Looking forward to this weekend and hope yours is a good one, too.
DeleteYou've found endless inspiration from those teabags!
ReplyDelete:) I've had fun with them.
DeleteI dearly love the tea bags!! Looks like you've had a wonderful week - despite the horrible heat wave everyone is living through.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Penny!
