I'm a Winner!

I have two circles of friends online - the quilting, sewing, & crafting friends on this blog and the book friends over at my book blog, A Garden Carried in the Pocket. One of my reading friends (Iliana at Bookgirl's Nightstand) makes lovely handmade books, and I was one of the lucky winners in a recent give-away!

My lovely handmade journal arrived yesterday:

I absolutely ADORE it! I posted about it over at my book blog and couldn't resist posting here as well because...I'm so thrilled with it!

Yesterday was a good day all around:

* I met Thomas for lunch at Ta Molly's Mexican restaurant where we had a good catch up visit. Unfortunately, Beth, Nina, and Mike weren't there, but maybe next time.

*After lunch - the library. No books overdue, so no fine this time, and I found several good books.

*Then to see Laddie and,

* then home to discover my new journal had come in the mail.

* And last night was another good yoga workout that made me feel just fine about coming home and watching a bit more of Lost, Season 2, while I worked on finishing the embroidery piece. At least, I think it's finished.

Now to get on to today's To Do List!
