So glad to hear y'all came thru hurricane Laura safe and sound; I totally get what it was like (having lived in FL for 12 years and went thru more hurricanes/tropical storms than I care to remember) and getting hit in 2018 with a cat 5 hurricane Michael all the way up here in Albany, GA, right smack over our heads. This is where I've lived since 2000 and have had tornadoes, hurricane, and you name it, including the dubious honor of being the #1 hotspot for covid in GA back in April and now we are back UP to #2 in the state again. So I know those feelings of worry and preparations and POST storm. BE WELL and STAY SAFE post storm.
Phew! So glad the storm didn't cause you any problems. I looked at Shreveport on the map and didn't realize that it is almost as far north as Dallas. That's really far inland for a hurricane, isn't it? Scary!! This year has got to get better!
Just saw your pinned post and so glad you guys are ok. I kept thinking the same thing, as if we needed anything else with this pandemic. Praying for all those affected by this.
Yes, it's sounded alarming. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteStay Safe!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. It is nice to see a bumble bee.
So far this summer, I've only seen one on my flowers.
My Wordless Wednesday picture has a bumblebee in it, too! :)
ReplyDeleteStay safe!
So fun to see them busy at work. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any bumblebees. The photos are great. Take care and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteBeen thinking of you-please stay safe. Praying for you.
