Last weekend, my nephew got married. A lovely ceremony with family, friends, good food and good music! Erin, Max, and Mila were up from Baton Rouge which added to the pleasure of the festivities.

Your incoming and outgoing mail reminds me of the letters a cousin and I used to send back and forth via our rural mail route during summer vacation. We made our envelopes and writing paper from old brown grocery sacks. What fun! Now, you must be having fun with your Halloween projects. I love the pillow, and a great big wow on the rosette wands.
ReplyDeleteI love getting mail--short letters, long letters, or postcards! Do you still have your cousin's letters? I don't know what happened to my letters from friends at camp or from my grandmother when I was in college, and I so wish I still had them. The Halloween projects have been great fun and keep my hands happily busy. :)
DeleteYou've been rather busy, what with one thing and another, haven't you!
ReplyDeleteI'll go through a quiet spell soon, but yes, lately I've been making huge messes, cleaning up, and making another mess immediately. :O
DeleteI really enjoy seeing your fun and pretty mail. I need to start making some pretty mail in hopes of getting some of mine.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shasta! Decorating envelopes is fun and gives the mail carrier something to brighten up the junk mail that makes it to all of our mailboxes. :)
DeleteLove your sense of whimsy! Christmas is 2 months away. Just giving you a heads up.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rian. And thanks for the heads up! ;p
DeleteYour home looks like a fun place.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy time but lots of fun. Love the pillow and all of your Halloween decor!
