We Got Rain!

Finally, after so many unfilled promises, we got rain yesterday!  It might rain across the river, at Fee's office, just north of us, but still leave our neighborhood isolated, high and dry.  But yesterday, we got rain!

Reading:   There were more, but these are my recent favorites.  Will review them on my book blog...eventually.

All of these artistic fish are fun, but I think I like the Warhol best.  :)

  1. The art school of fish are awesome! By the way, I'm now hooked on Margarete Miller's YouTube videos you recommended. I can't wait to start a glue book :)

    1. The reading goes through such ups and downs. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get several good reads in a row, but mostly there are a quite a few that get abandoned along the way. I really liked that garden page in a magazine, so I thought it would make a great envelope. It is a shame to waste a beautiful, secret garden. :)

  6. Yay for rain! We could use a summer storm here. I'm always up for a rainy day though, regardless of the season. :-) I am really curious to know what you thought of Impossible Girl. I signed up for the TLC tour for that one this coming fall. It sounds like you liked it though since you mentioned it was one of your favorite recent reads. I look forward to reading it when I get my copy.

    Have a great weekend, Jenclair!

  7. What a fun post! I always love the mail art. Sorry you are so dry down there-we are getting rain, and it's quite cool here. It's just right. now if I can just keep the rabbits out of my garden!

    1. I envy you your rain and cool weather, Debra! Too much, too little...weather has trouble making everyone happy. Rabbits aren't as cute when they eat your plants. It would be wonderful if they stuck to weeds and left the lettuce alone. :)
