Inspired by Dottie Angel's "heart-catchers,"
I tried my hand at some wire hearts.
Well, needless to say,
what may appear simple (and may actually be simple)
does not account for the artistic vision.
Dottie Angel's hearts are beautiful.
My attempt is...pedestrian.
I made one large heart from a coat hanger,
which doesn't compare to hers.
But...
I enjoyed making it.
So, rather than try another large one,
I checked my stash of wire
and made several smaller ones.
I've scattered them around the house.
I'm not really happy with any of my hearts.
They don't sing like Dottie Angel's.
That doesn't mean that I won't make more.
I think yours are lovely. Really lovely! As usual, your work continues to inspire me.

ReplyDeleteKeep creating, they are great! I decided to visit her blog and, wow! You're right, very inspiring. I may have to make a few of these hearts. I really like the idea of giving them to friends at other times of the year.
