Rosemary and Agnes are finished!
Rosemary,
above, has arms and legs, but Agnes,
below, is another weighted doll.
|
I just had her arms pinned on at this stage, so I wouldn't get them confused with Rosemary's arms. |
|
This is the only picture I've taken of Agnes complete.
I believe I'm finished with this style for the time being. And since October is just
around the corner, maybe I need to work on a Halloween figure or two.
It is time to get out
some of last year's, Halloween creatures, the Halloween tree, the little
Halloween quilts, etc. and decorate for the season.
We began the week with 106 F, and we are ending it with highs in 70's and 80's.
That is fall weather for us! Even though we will be back into the
90's next week. We can delight in these cooler days. |
Jenclaire, I always love your dolls!! Can't wait to see what you create for Halloween this year! Good luck! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sherri! I can't decorate just the way I'd like because of The Triad, the cat trio that manage to wreak havoc wherever they go. :) Still, it is getting close to time to try again to keep things out of their reach!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, even elegant in a whimsical darling way! Such talent and such great, great fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteMichelle - Thanks! These old-fashioned were certainly fun to make. When I'm doing something I don't have to think about, like stuffing them, I rely on Netflix to entertain me, so the boring parts aren't even boring!
ReplyDeleteHi Jenclair,
ReplyDeleteYour dolls are exquisite!! Such wonderful detail!
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Feel free to use what pictures you like, and thanks for asking!
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Jane
