Crowned Again

It was such a beautiful morning, that after planting the pansies, basil, chives, mint, etc., I took Mila's crown outside with me and finished beading the little pointy things.  One bead at a time is a slow process, but I only had 2 left to finish up, so I got some sun and enjoyed the garden while I worked.
Back to the embroideries which I prefer to do while watching one of my Netflix DVD's.  As soon as I typed that, I knew I wouldn't be doing anything inside.  I'll take the embroideries outside to work.  It is just too pretty a day to waste.

Did you make the pottery heads in the previous post? Cool, aren't they?

  3. Debra - I felt like wearing the crown while I was basking in the sun!

Yes, I made the heads from paper clay. Paper clay is a lot of fun to work with and air drys. It can then be sanded or carved. Cool stuff!

Debby - It was a perfect way to spend the day...peaceful and warm and relaxed!

  5. Becky - Thanks! I've enjoyed making these crowns, then wearing them around the house. This weekend, they will adorn my grandkids when they come for Easter.

    Happy Easter to you, too!
