Wahoo! Look what I won!A cowgirl apron from Cowgirl Goods! I couldn't believe my good luck because I adore this apron and can't wait to try it on. It is certain to be an inspiration, don't you think? I also like this one from Margie's Etsy Shop.
I must have a good aura concerning aprons, because last year I won this one last year from Running with Scissors!
The Universe must be trying to tell me something!
With this you certainly will never get the blues...
ReplyDeleteVery cool...sounds like the Universe is trying to tell you you need to spend more time in the kitchen. Nah....
ReplyDeleteger - ...but even cow girls... Style is everything, isn't it? It would be hard to sing the blues in this!
ReplyDeleterian - I was kind of afraid of that very thing.
Yeah, I was going to say that winning aprons is not good karma! Or maybe it is, depending on how you look at it.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen is calling...I love aprons, too...my collection is hanging on a peg rack, though...the kitchen is not in many of my plans...heh...interesting--the word verification for me this time says "reade"...how appropriate since I was sitting here with a Deborah Crombie book on the pillow you made me just reading away right before I got on here...
ReplyDeletei think aprons are great for the garden too. not so bad.....
ReplyDeleteKay - I wear my frilly apron sometimes when I need a lift or feel when I feel really good. My attitude changes, and I feel both humorous and pleased with the world. Unfortunately, it does not make me gravitate to the kitchen, at least not to cook.
ReplyDeleteDebbie- :) I want a rack for displaying my aprons! Think I'll check into that. Oooo - enjoy that Deborah Crombie! Glad to hear you are using the pillow!
jude - I think I should make a special garden apron! Too keep me a little cleaner and have the benefit of lots of pockets!
You lucky girl! I love that apron... congrats!
ReplyDeleteWell I think you are just getting hints to pose attractively in these beauties while Fee continues on with the cooking he enjoys and you don't ...
ReplyDeleteLucky you! What fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that apron! You are one lucky girl! do you have a pair of boots to go with it?
ReplyDeleteThey are just TOO cute. Will make you smile every time you look. :D
ReplyDeleteHeart of a Cowgirl - I AM lucky! I'm so excited about winning!
ReplyDeleteACey - Right! I'll hold the dish he makes and pose! Photograph coming soon. :)
Art4Sol - Can't wait for my new apron to get here!
sewtakeahike - I held on to my cowboy boots for years -- they were a pretty pair, but no custom, handmade Charlie Dunn beauties. I finally gave them to Goodwill; big mistake, as I miss them.
Connie - They really do make me smile! I wore the frilly one all day yesterday in celebration. :)
goofy me but i want to sing "someone's in the kitchen with jennie, someone's in the kitchen i knooooow, da, da, da, da, playing on the ole banjo"
ReplyDeleteKaroda - "I'm an old cow hand..."
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THAT APRON!! It is absolutely fabulous. Cowboys and cowgirls are always a favorite.
ReplyDeleteCarissa- I was so excited when I found out I won this apron. I've really enjoyed wearing it around the house and pretending that I'm domestic!
