Given the fact that treadmills have in the past conspired to frighten and embarrass me, I found this video (via Rebecca's Pocket) to be quite impressive (and funny)!
W.I.P. Wed. - this has been sitting on my cutting table for nearly a week now. Inspired by all of the yo-yo and garland and yo-yo garland posts, I started a garland. Watching Firefly and making yo-yo's was fun, finishing the garland has not felt pressing.
Here are some magical books. I first saw these posted on Ullabenulla's blog, but rediscovered them today.
And for a good laugh, try The Unorthodox Taxidermy of Dr. Seuss.
Found at MakeReady.
I LOVE the Dr. Seuss site! He was a genius and it's interesting to see what he did other than children's books. Sort of like discovering Shel Silverstein wrote dirty poems for Playboy.
ReplyDeleteDelta - "I only read the articles." Fee brought home the (torn-out) pages of the Shel Silverstein article, I later took the pages to Erin so she could read the article. Who bought the Playboy? Fee said one of the rig hands had it. O.K. At any rate, Shel had many more dimensions than most of us were aware of. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your stars and yo-yo garland, Jen! :D
ReplyDeleteAny Christmas spirit showing up yet? Your garland should get some coming your way soon!
