Another weekend. Next week is Thanksgiving? Is that for real? Oh, my. The object in my mirror is closer than it appeared.
Sister-in-law Robin and nieces Katie and Megan are heading for a week in New York tomorrow. Although the idea of New York is overwhelming to me, I would love to be a fly on the wall as Katie and Megan experience it. Robin has a long list of things to do and see; some are the more expected NY highlights, others are recommendations from a friend who lived there and suggested less well-known attractions.

And what a difference a year makes. Here is Lady Carolina Belle last year at Thanksgiving and a more recent photograph. I'm just sayin'...
Lady Carolina Belle is sure a cutie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a face! Lady Carolina Belle is just too darn cute for words.
ReplyDeleteJeri - LCB is pretty hefty now; I think she weighs nearly as much as I do! Amelia and Chris must have difficulty with their grocery bill.
ReplyDeleteRissa - What a face, is right! :)
Don't feel too bad about T'giving, Jen. My motley crew of family not going elsewhere only last night decided what to do. It was a toss-up with going out, but potluck at baby sister's house finally won. None of us are in the groove this year--maybe it's the weird weather? I mean, c'mon--Dorothy says it's 70 degrees in Vermont?!
ReplyDeleteOne year, a full house, the next the other side of the family may get the crowd. This year will be only Laddie and Amelia as -Chris will be out of town and Erin and her family have decided not to make the trip. We may cook out down at the land...
ReplyDeleteThose girls are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteand Lady Carolina Belle ... how time flies!
