Erin was in town yesterday, and we had lunch at Retro 521
in the East Bank District. Delightful daughter and delicious lunch!

A delightful day and some gorgeous flowers!
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun lunch--company, food, and atmosphere!
DeleteI went to Retro 521 last week for a NOW meeting. It's a delightful cafe. I'd be happy to meet you there sometime for lunch--just sayin'....
ReplyDeleteIt is a delightful cafe, and one thing we remarked on was that we could hear each other talk! Did your NOW group op for one of the alcoves? And we really should have lunch there soon!
DeletePS Love the pic of you all and Erin!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm feeling kind of ghostly "a whiter shade of pale." I guess that sunscreen really has been working, but then I do most of my gardening early in the morning.
DeleteYou have so many beautiful flowering plants! Surely makes for a delightful post, along with all the fun mail going out and coming in. I love the Will Rogers quote. He surely got that right - guess the more things change, the more they stay the same. I was glad to see that you have a pretty little helper with all that mail you send out.
ReplyDeleteWill Rogers had a knack for saying the truth in a humorous way! I love Claudia, the brain child of Julie Persons. Her photographs of Claudia are always funny and smart. The Adventures of Claudia
