Spent the day with my bff. I mean for some 50 odd years, Suzie and I can get together and get some talkin' done. We played catch up and we played "I remember when...." We drank mimosas and played with clay--like we were having a creative workshop.
Suzie loved the garlic press. She gave her feller a beard and a mustache.
Connie - It was perfect. We don't get to see each other often, but when we do, we still feel like those fourteen-year-old girls or like those college roommates from long ago. Yap, yap, yap. Still thinking along the same lines--just as a thought comes into my head, she starts talking about it before I open my mouth.
Are those your hands? I love seeing them.
ReplyDeleteNo, those are Suzie's hands as she works on her little guy. She wouldn't let me take a better picture--only an over-the-shoulder view. :)
ReplyDeleteA mimosa-fueled play day! Perfect!
