Here's what I've been reading lately:
Jo Bannister - Echoes of Lies and The Depths of Solitude -- both are re-reads, but I'd forgotten much of the plots, and I wanted to re-read a little before moving on to some of her newer books.
Devoured by D.E. Meredith - a Victorian mystery; the first in a new series
The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown - Sisters named for Shakespeare's heroines that are searching for ways to find themselves and each other. I like anything with a Shakespearean touch. :)
The Stonecutter by Camilla Lackberg -- Scandinavian mystery
The Redbreast by Jo Nesbo -- Scandinavian mystery/crime
The Devil's Star by Jo Nesbo -- Scandinavian mystery/crime
Well, my determination to read more non-fiction has gone by the wayside, at least temporarily. They are all either reviewed or scheduled to be reviewed at A Book Is Like a Garden in the Pocket.

This is the little Eccentric I'm working on now. He got put aside for quite a while, but I think I've finished Theo today. I'll post her final picture soon...she's going in a wooden box with her suitcase and parasol.
Ohhhh, nooooo! I always get sucked in by your book recommendations! hahahahaha! A new Victorian mystery series...double oh no!! I am weak...truly...
ReplyDeleteTry the Jo Bannister Brodie Farrell series, Debby! I think you'd really like the characters in this series!
