Haberdashery
I saw a Flickr group called Haberdashery and remembered the sewing box I bought at a flea market some time ago (as in about 5 years ago). Had to search for it because it was stacked with a bunch of things (like doll making supplies) that I rarely use anymore. But what fun to go through it again when I found it! When I bought it, I wasn't sewing, quilting, or doing embroidery, but loved the vintage charm of the contents. I'd forgotten these vintage buttons...I wonder what project the original owner had in mind for all of the red rick rack. Note the date on the S.H. Kraus package.I'll take some more pictures of the needle packages, thimbles, etc. and post later. The thimbles are a real joy!
