Mermaids Finished; Other Works in Progress

 Mermaids, fish, and a coral reef (sort of)...the octopus (or kraken) holds a ship in his legs and has a village on his head.  The  inspiration for the mermaids and kraken is from illustrations in A Dignity of Dragons:  Collective Nouns for Magical Beasts, which is great fun! 

 Edgar, waiting on the top step for me to pet him and tell him how handsome he is before I go into the studio.

Today is my brother's birthday.  Happy Birthday, Steve!  We won't discuss his age, but I'm even older!
