It really was a time of living in the moment, wasn't it? One juggler in the family is enough, so don't worry Teresa!
jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13828728.post-14605818655134721522017-09-06T16:06:39.571-05:002017-09-06T16:06:39.571-05:00I miss playing outside in the SW Virginia summers ...I miss playing outside in the SW Virginia summers as the sun set, the temperatures dropped, the lightning bugs began to flicker, and my sisters and cousins, plus a few neighborhood kids, played Hide and Seek across four backyards while the adults sat on my grandmother's patio and visited. There I was the heroine and could, of course, prevent the conflict from happening or at least "fix" it. With finesse. I was also the opposite of the real life me--graceful, knowledgable, a little sassy, always prepared, and so on.

And then there were mudpies :)Mary Marcottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14569619947909529203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13828728.post-66642283247705926822017-09-03T09:27:08.928-05:002017-09-03T09:27:08.928-05:00My favorite was Little Men--after Jo was grown and...My favorite was Little Men--after Jo was grown and married, but I loved them all. :)jenclairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06046532245054911248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13828728.post-39917175995432707092017-09-03T05:29:17.969-05:002017-09-03T05:29:17.969-05:00Goodness, yes, I remember Little Women - and all t...Goodness, yes, I remember Little Women - and all three sequels!
Yes, reading can count as play, if it immerses you in a wonderful imaginative world unlike our own....
Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15322676800314521539noreply@blogger.com
