Nimble

Don't like the body pattern even though it is a third incarnation,
and yet, I like Nimble with all his flaws.

I've made further adjustments to body pattern,
but have other ideas for body for next one.
Still thinking, but may make limbs of clay and real hands.
I actually have a pair of clay hands
that I made a while back and didn't use,
may check and see if size fits.
If so, could use them for the next Eccentric doll.

  1. He's turned out well - I like his collar!

  2. I'm learning from the Marlaine Verhelst online class about facial expressions, but I definitely need to know more about costuming! Too much guess work and experimenting. :\

  3. Dare I say this is your best work??? I think it is. Love the expression, AND the hat! Awesome!

  4. Oh, I love him!! Isn't it funny that often the ones that trouble us the most end up to be our favorites. I've battled with my current 'person' and yesterday he started coming to life and I love him. Its all part of the process I guess.

    1. Thanks, Penny! I'm so glad your current person is coming to life. Waiting on these characters can be a pain, part of the process or not.

My "white hair" (no name yet) is more likable than she was, but still giving problems. If it isn't one thing, it's another!

  5. I think this one is my favorite (of those I've seen, anyway). The crooked smile is so perfectly human. I'm guessing the problem with eccentrics is that they are just like humans. No one is always easy to work with, and when you're trying to help them improve, well, it can get pretty rough! lol Hope everyone your way had a wonderful, blessed Christmas.

One of my resolutions is to visit with my bloggy friends a bit better. Maybe wait till New Year's to work on the rest of the eccentrics...they'll also be in resolution mode and more willing to improve. :-)

    1. Thanks, Mary! I have been absent from blogging and working on my little Eccentric figures for quite a while now. Maybe I need a New Year's resolution to get back to both!

    1. :) He does have a bit of a smirk, doesn't he? No matter how much I try to control what happens, these Eccentrics all have their own agendas.
