Dragon Boat Race Practice

It is time for the third annual Shreveport Dragon Boat Race, and this year we have a crew!  There was a practice on Labor Day, but since most of the crew already had holiday plans, not everyone was able to make it.

The Dragon Boat Races have a long history and an interesting one.

Our son-in-law Chris is the one in the Nessie hat (Amelia bought the Loch Ness Monster hat for Bryce Eleanor, but Chris commandeered it because it is similar in appearance to a dragon).

After the practice (and some pretty sore muscles, I imagine), Bryce Eleanor and Paddy played in the fountains.
