Tuesday Thoughts

I was just reading this article about Gabrielle Giffords and music therapy.  It caught my attention because, like so many others, I hope so much for her recovery and because in general, music therapy interests me.

In a recent Amazon order, I debated between ordering Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain by Oliver Sacks  and Phantoms in the Brain: Probing the Mysteries of the Human Mind by V.S. Ramachandran.

It took me a long time to narrow titles on my Amazon Wish List to these two titles, but in the end, I went with Phantoms by Ramachandran.  When I read the article about Giffords, I wished I ordered both of them.  Next month, I'll get Muscophilia.

B.E. will be here this afternoon, and I'm disappointed that the poetry books I ordered for us are not here yet.  I ordered them at the same time as Phantoms in the Brain, and expect them any day.  Maybe, just maybe, they will arrive in today's mail.
Taking a little break from the Eccentrics.  The three in progress have begun stalling a little.  This one has been getting more attention, but his body has been slower to progress.  He has shoes, legs, leggings, and torso right now, but no arms.

  3. Your guy looks like a melancholy jester. It will be fun to see how he develops.
