A Little Taste of Snow

The wintery mix wasn't too bad for our area.  Some sleet, some snow, but not too much.  I took the pictures a little while ago, but it had already begun melting.  The Southeast, however, had much worse conditions.
Edgar made a mad dash out the door, but decided not to stay too long.

I made Harriet (the little girl I've been working on) a collar, but seem to have lost it.  She is 7" from head to foot, but 8 1/2" tall from foot to tip of pony tail. Poor little girl is finally dressed, complete with her knickers.  She's waited a long time and been through several fittings that she didn't care for.

Yesterday and today have been good days to stay inside, play with dolls, and keep warm.

  6. Rian, Harriet is quite attached to her bunny :0 It made dressing her much more difficult!

  8. Thanks, Debbie! I love that fabric, too. I had to give it a little tea wash to tone it down a bit for Harriet, but in its brightest form it is even more cheerful. It was from an Alexander Henry collection.
