Sunday

Our son-in-law will be  home in December!  Goodbye Baghdad, Hello Shreveport!  Bryce Eleanor thinks her dad is in every airplane that flies over and is thrilled that he will be home for her birthday.  Stole this picture from Amelia.  That's our Major Chandler on the right.  We all think he hung the moon.

I've been busy working on more Guardians, slowly working on organizing the studio, and slowly organizing our closet and bathroom cabinets.

Stinker likes to look her best.
A bunch of old books from Mother and Laddie's house that Marty brought over.  Tied up with a bow, they look kind of special.
Playing with paper....I downloaded some images from The Graphics Fairy, but haven't gotten much further than this.

  1. How wonderful to have your fine young man back home with his family again and with his beautiful little B.E. I cannot even imagine how hard it must be...but also how proud you all are, as well. Of course he hung the moon and always will. Somebody's got to do it! Love your ideas found or created, as always!!

  2. Michele, we are so thrilled that he will be back in time for B.E.'s birthday and for Christmas. Chris is such a fine young man and a devoted husband and father. We are blessed!

  3. Glad to hear that your son-in-law is home safe and sound!!
I served 8 years in the Air Force many years ago when things were fairly calm. It's very scary to hear what our service men experience over there.
Anyway, enjoy your family and have a wonderful holiday season.
P.S. love what you've done with your guardian angels!

  4. Cat, he isn't home yet, but will be in a couple of weeks. He will be here for Bryce Eleanor's birthday, December 11. Thanks for the good wishes concerning our young man!

I'm thrilled you like the Guardians. It means a lot coming from you, as I love your work!

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
