Sunday proved a delightful Mother's Day!  Brunch at Ernest's with Amelia, Chris, and Bryce Eleanor, and a call from Erin.  Thoroughly pampered and plenty of Mimosas to go with all of the excellent food.

It was overcast and cool, but a perfect day for changing back into pajamas when we got  home and cuddling up with the Triad and a good book.

A mobile fabric shop!  What a great idea!  Found via Sewing Journal's link to Quilt and Dagger.

Projects begun last week:

One of the cloth heads I tried needle-sculpting.  View from studio window on a sunny day last week; my chicken (it looks like it's going to be a chicken, unless I change my mind, remove the comb, and decide on something else) keeps watch by the window.

Today saw progress on some Halloween figures.   They will probably be the focus again tomorrow.  Although that chicken could certainly use some help!

Hope you all had a nice weekend and a pleasant Mother's Day.
