Red Caps

Calamity Kim has a Red Cap Mushroom Love Flickr Site, but I had made nothing with red cap mushrooms although I've seen them so frequently in the last couple of months.

Yesterday while playing with papier mache, a red cap mushroom piece began to take shape.  I'd also been experimenting with jointing and crackling techniques and had a little figure that fit right in.

The little guy has a cowlick and a pennant, he's busy cheering the gnomes' Red Top team in the annual Mushroom Bocce Ball Tournament.
