Early Morning Garden

It has been a beautiful morning, although rain is predicted for later.  The garden feels so fresh and clean in the morning, so full of promise.

The Triad certainly thinks so and have done a great deal of exploring and chasing and pouncing on each other.
Edgar watches the birds.
Stinker joins him.
The rosemary has a curious attraction, and she stops to sniff it.
Lucy poses.

What is going on in your world this fine day?

  1. I'm sitting by the picture window drinking my tea, listening to the cacophany of the birds on the feeders, and enjoying the view, the sun streaming in from a crisp blue and white sky, as I wait for the cable man to come...Then it is off to the sewing/work/studio room to continue cleaning. I am really making good progress. I have two huge cupboards to assemble and then I can start emptyng all the other various hiding places of all my fabrics and studio materials...I'm pretty happy about that! Your garden looks so inviting and your kitties are SO adorable!

  2. Debby - Right now, I'm sitting at the computer, drinking MY tea! I'm glad you have been having a lovely morning, too. Just think how proud (and organized) you will soon be!

  4. Kay - It is still beautiful outside, but bad weather is still in the forecast so I've tried to make the most of the sun while it is available.

Their morning adventures wore the furry ones slap out...they are all asleep.

  5. You have got a nice garden out there. I think a connection with plants means a connection with the nature itself. Nice cattitude

  6. Ann - This time of year is so nice for gardens and gardening! The cats love being outside and jumping in bushes. Love watching them jump straight up out of the shrubbery!

  7. What a fine crew. I'm wistful about their collars. I waited too long to introduce the idea and all attempts end in schizophrenic rodeos complete with bloodletting (mine). I give up.

  8. Deb - The little black and white one manages to slip her collar frequently. She is a little more aloof than the others, too.

Sorry, but the idea of schizo rodeo makes me laugh as I try to envision it!

  11. Kathy - Gardens are such calming places, aren't they? Sometimes even looking the window can induce a feeling of peacefulness.

  12. Rebekah - I was afraid I wouldn't get over the loss of my bigger garden when we moved, but this tiny one is "just right."

The cats add that element of humor to almost any location!
