Booted Out

This has been such a nice day.  Warm and breezy and plenty of sun!  I did a little--very little actually-- gardening, but enjoyed sitting in the sun whenever I'd take a break.  Those are Fee's boots, not mine!

The Triad watch what goes on in the garden, keeping an eye on the birds, but when I come in they play with each other.
The fur is flying around here!  Because of the shedding, I groom them a couple of times a day.  Fee brought home a marvelous tool called The Furminater the other day, and all three  fuss and finagle to have a turn, knocking each other out of the way.  Think I'll call it the Purrrminater.  Works great; so much better than the previous tools I've tried.

I have about 10 doll projects in various stages, but here are a couple of pics of WIP's.

  2. This looks like "real" summer already... a nice spot to sit in I´m sure...

  3. Debby - The Triad make for great entertainment, for sure! Fee told me yesterday about another group of kittens near his office, but I assured him we have enough cats!

ger - Temperatures in the 80's around here, but nice breezes keep it so pleasant. It will be real summer temps soon!

  4. Cute kitties--makes me sneeze just to look at them. I am allergic to cats...wish I wasn't, but I am. They can really make a mess out of me.

  5. Rian - Thank goodness, we are not allergic to cats. Daughter Erin is, however, so I can sympathize.

  6. You know when the kitties grow larger, they're still going to want to be in the highest perch and will either squeeze in together, uncomfortably, or battle to see who will be king/queen of the mountain ... it is the one thing that leads to serious cat spats at my house lately.

But yours sure are adorable now and, no doubt, entertaining.

  7. Even now, the two females only get up there on Edgar's sufferance. He is definitely an alpha male, but he is also very loving and protective of his sisters. There is no doubt, however, that he is the superior cat. He is a legend in his own mind.

  8. I love to hear about the triad! I too love the Furminator. Another neat tool is something called a Fur Fighter made by 3M. It's sort of like a lint roller, but with a much rougher surface; it really does a good job of getting cat hair off furniture. The little pads are disposable when they fill up and you can find refills.

  9. Kay - I have the Fur Fighter, too! It gets lots of use on both furniture and clothes; after having them all over my lap, I have to clean up if I decide to go anywhere.

    Great tools, both!
