Snips and snails...

 and puppy dog tails, that's what little boys are made of...and puppies love bones, so with the embellisher and some needle felting (drawing blood, of course, as I always manage to hit my fingers when I needle felt--fortunately, fingers are safer with the embellisher), I worked on creating a bone for Max's crown.
