Friday, Already?

I've been delaying cutting into the Kaffe Fassett fat quarter because I love it and was afraid my idea for Mila's crown may not work.  Yesterday, I bit the bullet and cut into the fabric, sewed, and stuffed these pieces.
Played with covering wire with ribbon and one of the cords I made.  Don't know if I'll use them now or not, but it was fun bending them into various shapes.

And these twigs and grasses?  I have plans for them, too.
Poor little mouse.  Edgar loves him and will only let Stinker and Lucy play with him for brief periods.  He is such an alpha male.

Another week has flown by.  I have so much to get done today, but hope to have time to work on my projects as well.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Clearly you need another mouse. We actually have several, for one cat! I guess she's really pampered.

  2. Wow Jen, you have been very creative lately! I was trying to catch up on all you have been working on & it's a lot!

The spikey things are cool. I hope you do use them. I've never used paper clay, but will have to try it. I have some that I bought a few years ago. Never got around to using it!

I love the cat photos. My cat is spoiled. He is our 1 & only & has many mice. Santa brings new ones every year.

  3. Kay - :) Yes, definitely another mouse! On the other hand, they have about 6 balls, and Edgar's is the oldest, dirtiest one, and he's just as possessive of that ball as he is of the mouse. The girls want Edgar's toys, not their own.

Deb H - I've been on quite a roll, but every project keeps inspiring another one!

I like the spikey things, too, and I'm sure I'll find a use for them, but don't think they are going to work on Mila's crown after all.

You've got to try that paper clay--really fun!
