Curiouser

What is going on here?
In 2005, I made this doll head, and it has been hanging around ever since.  In 2006, I began a doll using one of the heads, then forgot about them again.

The sartorial dog was fun, but full of finicky details.

I don't know what happened to the painted one, haven't seen her since the move, but she will probably turn up at some point.

I'd hoped the new one would be fast and furious.  I made the body sort of wop-sided as if she were cocking a hip.  Instead of making a cloth body (finicky), I just wadded up newspaper, then "bandaged" it.

Because one thing leads to another, I then wrapped her in scrap batting pieces to fill her out.  Still pretty simple, but then I decided to wrap her again with yarn.

Simple enough, but becoming more time-consuming.  Then, pause and deep breath, I realized I'd spend forever deciding what she will wear.

I'd pulled out all kinds of items for the "possibility" section, but discovered that this will be the slowest part; I'm stuck for the moment.  I draped some blue cheese cloth over her arms and left her.  I'll go back and ponder some more later.  She was supposed to be quick and easy, but how could I forget that the clothing is the slow part.
Here she is with yarny ends still out of her pipe cleaner, batting, and yarn covered arms.
