A Little Embroidery

I worked on one of the Easter embroideries last night.  Not the one from yesterday's post, but the other one...with raw edge machine applique and hand embroidery.
I decided to give the little bunny a blue jacket like Peter's, but I'm keeping him out of Mr. McGregor's garden.

I'm going to think about what next with this piece, but I find the stitching calming and may begin the other one tonight.

For you grandmothers out there, I told you I would post more about Toad Cottages and Shooting Stars-- check out my review here.

  3. Your little applique embroidery pieces are so charming! And I love the kittens. Isn't it amazing how fast they grow? Sort of a human life speeded up.

  4. ger - Thanks! I always need something to get me started stitching again.

Debby - Sharon is very talented, isn't she? I love both her writing and her illustrations.

I hope to get started on the other embroidery piece tonight and maybe to actually get to sewing eventually!

Kay - Thanks! I love the peacefulness of embroidery and hand quilting. I'm never very good, but the process is such a relaxing one.

Yes, our little kittens are really now cats. Still affectionate and loving and always looking for a lap!
