Message from the Universe

I couldn't help but laugh at my message From the Universe on Friday after the tornado on Thursday (I thought I'd posted it, but I'd left it as a draft):

Any attempt to measure one's progress in life with an assessment of their present physical surroundings, or even a panoramic glance at their life and times to date, is just plain "whacked." The reason being, Jen, is that each journey, kind of like a haircut, should never be fully appraised until it's complete. Otherwise, one might mistake a miracle-in-the-making for a setback, loss, or the "wet-look."
Your cosmic barber and de-whacker,
    The Universe

  2. This is great! =-) I've been wondering how the clean-up was coming and know how unsettling disasters can be, even if they are "not as bad as they could have been." Living in fire-evacuation territory has taught me that the universe has its own plans for us...All we can do is go along for the ride and hope for the best. Hope you are fine, we miss you around the blog-o-shere...

  3. Gerrie - :) The message appeared the "morning after," but we still were without electricity, etc. When I found it later, I couldn't believe the timing!

Debby - We are doing just fine, waiting on this and waiting on that, but safe and secure. I know that living in areas where there are fires and earthquakes must be much worse. Simply can't imagine what watching those fires and waiting must be like!
