Update

We took Laddie to the doctor yesterday (3rd time in two weeks), and after the 1 1/2-2 hour wait there, he went straight to a hospital bed and oxygen. What would I do without my brother? He has been a rock and an inspiration, especially when I'm tired and petty.

Thanks for all the nice comments on my bright little quilt, and I'll catch up with emails and comments soon, but I must get ready to go back up to the hospital. I'm so wishing I had a laptop!

I do have books to take today and a little handquilting, but my next project is going to be some hand piecing a la Jude! She's always busy on her long commute and gets so much done, and it is such a great way to keep occupied on something you love.

  10. hey, hope all goes well. hand stitching has been a comfort for me through many an ordeal this past year. my spirit cloths were actually started during my father's long stay in a nursing home, i visited everyday and stitched away my sadness and stitching in my hope.....

  11. Congestive heart failure is miserable, glad the oxygen helps him. I'm praying for you all and sending loving thoughts. I can't begin to count the hours of needlepointing I've done waiting in hospitals. Good to have something to help your sanity.
