Gardener's Movie

I'm in the midst of another round of sinus headaches. My head is so miserably stopped up that I have trouble hearing. My eyes are swollen. I slept most of the afternoon yesterday. Wahhhh!

Ok, self-pity has been expressed, now I can move on.

I watched a great movie the other night: Green Fingers with Clive Owen and Helen Mirren. Based on a real incident, this film was fun and uplifting. If you enjoy gardening and comedy, try it.

  1. I am sending healing thoughts. I had mine a couple of weeks ago. Felt like I had my head in a bucket!!

  2. Oh, I can sympathize! Do you have allergies that do this? Mine have started acting up in the last week or two - bad sinus pain. I sure hope you feel better soon!

  3. Rian, Gerrie, and Patti - Thanks! I've got to pick up my prescription this afternoon. Things should improve after that. Yes, allergies generally cause it, and yes, it does feel like my head is in a bucket! :) The headache is gone for now, and the rest is just uncomfortable. Keeping that headache at bay is my current motivation!

  4. I hope you feel better soon. And thanks for the movie recommendation. I don't know that one, but with the cast, it would have to be good.

  8. I was thrilled to discover this movies when it was first available at my local blockbuster. Had an offline "vacation" ruined by horrendous cluster migraines so can sympathize about your sinus situation. I have been trying to maintain the best possible attitude so hadn't gotten around to the self-pity layer yet. We live variously at times through others' blogs ;)

Kay - It was genuinely a pleasure to watch!

Jen - I'm not surprised...you are the one who recommended Big Fish and Secondhand Lions! :)

Debby - You will like it- Clive Owen is so cute and Helen Mirren is always good, but I liked all of the characters.

ACey - Yep, this one is right up your alley with all of the gardening!

Deb H. - You can watch the garden grow and pretend that all the snow has melted and there is no ice on your roof!
