Post Christmas Relaxation

Whew! I must say things have gotten a bunch quieter around here. We had a lovely time at Amelia's Christmas Eve Get-Together and at lunch on Christmas Day at my brother's. Robin (SIL) did a marvelous job, and several of us girls had a wonderful time with Cranberry Mimosas! Having the whole family together is such a rare treat. Erin and Eric and the "grands" came in on Christmas Eve, Fee and I are only now wiping the perpetual grins off our faces. Hope to have pictures soon.

Hope everyone had a wonderful time (and isn't funny that when it is all over, the pre-holiday stress and bustle sort of melts into mellow memories of the actual events...). Not that most of us aren't ticking off a few things that would make next year run a bit smoother, and while I'm sure I won't actually remember, I do SWEAR to get things done earlier. Where have I heard that before? The words echo mockingly even as I type!

I've been doing some computer and email catching up this morning. Amazing what a few days with limited or no computer time can do to email. General house cleaning is now complete; all of the Christmas stuff will soon have to be boxed back up, but that can wait ...

  2. it will be fun to see the pics. Many things got shifted around for the holidays and there seems to be more chaos than ever here in this workroom!

  3. It is nice to relax, isn't it? Actually though, one son and wife are coming tomorrow night. Should be stressed, but since it isn't really Christmas, I'm somehow just going with the flow!

  6. Me too, I'm eager to see the pics! This is a mellow time of year, after all the craziness of preparing for the holiday. Cranberry mimosas sound divine!

  7. I am with you on what happens when you don't have internet access for a couple of days. I am taking my computer to my mom's in Janurary, but it will be slooooooow dial-up and I won't be able to keep up with it all. LOL

Glad the hustle and bustle is over...I am looking forward to ROC Day in Ocean Springs. :-)

Isn't that sort of what we say about having a baby?
